Introducing our team

  • Jonny Marshall

    Jonny has been involved in designing and delivering adventure based programs since 2016. Since then he has built partnerships with a wide range of organisations both working for Dept of Youth Justice and in recent years founding Cairns Adventure Therapy. By launching FNQ Nature Quest Jonny hopes even more individuals, families and groups in our community can benefit from time outdoor together in nature.

  • Alan Zaeh

    Alan is one of our founding Directors and is passionate about using adventure activities in nature to support those living with mental ilness.

  • Leah Muller

    Leah is an Art Therapist and is currently studying Ecopsychotherapy. She believes that now is the time that we as a species need to remember as deeply as possible, our Earthly roots; where we have come from, and where we may return to for sustenance and a re-awakening as such, about just how wonderful our Earth is, and how wonderful we are… tapping in to our innate capacity to discover what it is we need to move forward in life and to travel along a pathway which brings us joy and contentment through deep listening to our Self and to nature.

  • Tessa Marshall

    Tessa is our Secretary and does an amazing job looking after all of the administrative and financial aspects of our organisation. She loves getting out for hikes exploring remote and rarely visited trails in our region

  • Jacob Bennett - Adventure Activity Specialist

    Jacob is our adventure activity specialist. He woks as an outdoor instructor for a number of organsations, and is currently studying a Bachelor of Social Work at JCU. Most weekends he will be out adventuring, either honing his packrafting skills or canyoning down beautiful waterfalls with friends.

  • Miranda Starr - Promotion and Sponsorship

    We are so grateful for Miranda who generously volunteers her time and energy to our cause. Not only does Miranda source sponsors to provide equipment for our programs, she also captures all the magic with her incredible photography skills.

  • Mel Moylan

    Mel is an amazing all rounder contributing to all aspect of our operation. She provides administration support as well as facilitating nature play and school holiday programs.
